What a difference a day — and you — can make!

Your generosity during #GivingTuesdayatBonas has been overwhelming, surpassing the initial goal of raising $40,000 for our many outreach ministries. Thank you so very much!

If you missed #GivingTuesdayatBonas, you can still make a donation at www.sbu.edu/donate.

Thank you for your partnership!

The Franciscan Center for Social Concern (FCSC) offers opportunities for students to engage in transformational service opportunities. SBU students engage with the world by:

• Providing nourishment and fellowship at the Warming House.
• Serving as role models for local children through Bona Buddies.
• Helping to care for homeless animals at the SPCA.
• Offering a wide variety of fresh and frozen food through the SBU Food Pantry.
• Learning about sustainable agriculture and service with the Farm to Table program.

The FCSC is made up of a lot of moving parts: student volunteers, generous donors such as yourself, and students who work within the FCSC. Students have the opportunity to:

• Learn about and run a small nonprofit entity.
• Develop grant writing skills and participate in credited internships.
• Practice management and leadership skills they can take with them upon graduation from SBU.

Your contribution during #GivingTuesdayatBonas will help ensure that the FCSC continues to offer service and social justice programs that change lives and allow students to learn while they serve.
