#BonaGivingDay is St. Bonaventure University’s annual day of giving, a day for everyone who loves Bonaventure to come together to combine their support and maximize their impact. The seventh annual #BonaGivingDay takes place on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 12:00 a.m. through 11:59 p.m.
There are many ways to spread the word and show your support for #BonaGivingDay:
- Become a #BonaGivingDay Ambassador and challenge your friends and classmates to join you in making a gift to support this special day.

- Connect your #BonaGivingDay Ambassador page to Facebook to share news about the day and collect donations directly through your Facebook page. Click here to find out more about connecting your Facebook profile to your TeamRaiser page!

How will my donation be used?
Gifts to The Bonaventure Fund go to work immediately supporting the university and the students who call it home. Not only do your gifts provide needed financial aid and scholarship support, they also help keep the university updated with the latest technology and resources.
Yes. Whether $5 or $500, all gifts make a difference in the lives of students. Even better, your gift on #BonaGivingDay can help reach challenge goals, allowing the university to unlock additional gifts throughout the day.

2. Click on the “Donate” button
3. Complete the information required and click submit once complete
Besides making a donation, how else can I help?
You can provide additional support by spreading the word through social media. Additionally, you can register to become a volunteer fundraiser through our TeamRaiser platform. Once signed up, you’ll be provided the tools necessary to personally reach out to friends and urge them to join you in making a gift.
Can I issue a participation or matching gift challenge?
Yes! Challenge gifts are a great way to inspire others to make donations on #BonaGivingDay. If you are planning on making a gift to the university of $2,000 or more, let us know and we can work together to leverage that as a challenge for participation or as a matching gift. This is a great way to maximize the impact of your gift.

Can I give by mail or over the phone?
While #BonaGivingDay is a virtual event, the university would be more than happy to accept your support either by mail or phone. To give by mail, please send a check to the following:

Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes. All gifts to St. Bonaventure are considered a charitable donation. Your gift will be acknowledged with a receipt for your tax records from our Advancement Services office.
