Franciscan Center for Social Concern at Bona's

Team Beak the Bubble

We are the FCSC Break the Bubble Service Trips. We provide students with opportunities to participate in service trips to local areas beyond the Bonaventure campus during school breaks. Our goal is to live out the Franciscan value of being in solidarity with people. We believe that it is our mission to reach out to communities that need our help and provide service.

We take many trips to St. Francis Inn in Philadelphia, which is a Franciscan-run restaurant-styled soup kitchen. Students help with the inn’s daily tasks and engage in many conversations with the guests.

This past spring, we traveled to Nazareth Farm in West Virginia where we built roofs, porches, and more for local community members as well as helped contribute to the sustainability of the farm.

Students who went on the trips have given great feedback on how the service trips change their lives. This is why we need your help! We thank you and truly appreciate your consideration to donate to our page Break the Bubble Service Trips!
