That’s the number of gifts we received during our second annual #BonaGivingDay — and YOU made it happen! Your participation helped to unlock the $80,000 challenge gift from Jim and Nina Meyer, ’76 and ’79.

Thank you, Bona Nation, for Rising to the Challenge.

Our staff is still counting checks and tallying numbers, but we are proud to share these preliminary results:

  • Raised more than $300,000 in 24 hours.
  • Acquired $44,000 through trustee gifts and alumni challenges.

Watch for a full update coming soon.

Once again, thank you from the entire St. Bonaventure University community.

If you haven't yet, take a couple minutes to make a gift. You could be the one that gets us across the finish line.

University Trustees Dick Penna, '68, and Steve Barry, '78, have pledged a combined $12,000 if we can acquire 25 new members of the Young Alumni Grotto Society.

If you graduated between 2012-2016, a $250 donation qualifies you. Graduates from 2007-2011 can join with a $500 gift.

This is a great opportunity for you to become one of the top donors in your class and support #BonaGivingDay at the same time. Click here to donate now to join the Young Alumni Grotto Society.

The second annual #BonaGivingDay will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017. On this day, we ask all alumni, family, friends, faculty and staff to make an online donation to The Bonaventure Fund.

Here is how you can help:

Besides simply making a donation, this year you have the opportunity to play an even larger role by serving as a volunteer and personally challenging your classmates, family and friends.

Because we have limited time to meet our goal, we need your help to reach as many alumni as possible and encourage them to join you in the effort.

Through these pages, you will find all the tips and resources to get your classmates, friends, family and colleagues inspired to be a part of this very special day.

Keep checking back for updates!
