My name is Alison McIntosh, I am a junior Inclusive Childhood and Childhood Education Major, and I am one of the student coordinators for Bona Buddies. I joined this program my freshman year as a mentor and loved it so much that I wanted to take on a bigger role! Bona Buddies is a youth mentoring program that pairs St. Bonaventure students with local children. This program is so special as it truly makes a difference for both the lives of the college students and local children that participate in it. By participating in fundraisers like Giving Tuesday, we are able to keep this program up and running. We will use these funds towards snacks for the kids, new games and activities, and the other various aspects that make this program so special.
