I have been a part of Bona Buddies since I was a freshman at St. Bonaventure. It is such an amazing feeling knowing that your buddy looks forward to every week and getting to spend time with you. It feels so good to know you are helping someone each week who does not necessarily come from the perfect environment. In my three years of experience I have come to find out that these kids help us just as much as we help them. College can be stressful at times and these kids come in with the biggest smiles and their excitement lights up the room. They want to hang out with us just as much as we want to hang out with them. It may only be two hours a week, but that is all it takes to make someone's entire week. Any donations would be such greatly appreciated because no matter how big or small the donation, they all help this program be able to run and keep going. It is so rewarding for both the kids and the students who participate in Bona Buddies as mentors. Thank you all so much for your kind donation!
