Hi! My name is Bridget O'Hern. I am currently a sophmore biology major student here at SBU! I have been volunteering at the SBU Food Pantry since it opened this fall and I have loved every second of it! Every time I am there so many students come in and are so grateful for this service that the university has provided. Any donation amount will help keep our shelves stocked, and hopefully we can keep expanding our services! I also participate in the club ENACTUS, which is another volunteer organization that works both within and outside of our school community, but it primarily focuses on the surrounding communities. The Food Pantry is a great way to help our fellow students that, before this year, may have been overlooked.
