A second-semester senior journalism & music major at St. Bonaventure University, I began my journey with the Franciscan Center for Social Concern at the beginning of this semester at the behest of our fearless leader, Alice Miller Nation, as a development associate. In this role, I have been blessed to assist Alice and the rest of our office team in raising money to keep the FCSC and its programs sustainable. Additionally, my job has been to help tell our story via the two newsletters our patrons and supporters received in the mail this semester, demonstrating how alumni and students alike have felt an impact in their lives by it and its programs.
