What has Rugby given me?

Rugby has impacted me more than anything I have ever done in my life. I have been playing rugby since my freshman year of high school, and I immediately fell in love with the sport. The lessons rugby has given me over the years are priceless. Through rugby, I have learned how to develop relationships, solve problems, self-disciple, and to take responsibility for my actions. These lessons will stay with me for the rest of my life, and have made me the person I am today.  I hope these lessons keep being taught to rugby players

Can rugby be more than a game?

Playing rugby at St. Bonaventure means that it’s not just a game we play to pass time. We play for our teammates around us. We play for our coaches who put so much time into us. We play for every St. Bonaventure rugger that played before us and will play after us. We become a giant family with the guys we play with, as well as the alumni who support and follow us. Rugby is much more than a game to me as well as the rest of the team, and all we want to do is keep on playing the game that has given us so much and share it with others.
