What has Rugby given me?

I joined St. Bonaventure rugby a semester after I transferred from the University at Buffalo and I feel like I've never made a better decision. Rugby is unlike any sport I've ever played before; it has given me a wonderful second family, a brand new skill, and a whole new level of determination to better myself every day. Rugby has become a huge part of my life, and when I look back on my college experience, many of the good memories i will have will be from being on this team. 

What does it mean to be a part of this family?

To be part of the St. Bonaventure Women's rugby family is to have a group of strong women who love, support, and accept you no matter what. Even outside of school, previous rugby players will always come up to me and talk about how much of an impact it has made on their lives, just like it has done to mine.
