What has Rugby given me?

I chose to play Rugby at St. Bonaventure because I want to be part of something bigger. While small in size, this school has provided me a wealth of opportunity to get involved. The skills I learn on the field and through my interactions with my teammates, will carry through and I will have a lifetime of memories in the process. 

What does it mean to be a part of this family?

Being a part of the women's rugby team started out with me just wanting to try something new. Since I joined freshman year it has become so much more than that. I have gained a family that I never expected I would. On and off the field my teammates support me 100%. It feels so amazing to be part of such an amazing team and organization. When I wear the Bonaventure uniform it feels so amazing to represent such an amazing university. This team is truly my second family. Through playing rugby I have met so many amazing women and my teammates will no doubt be my life long friends. Throughout my time so far on the women's rugby team I have learned so much.
